About Us
The University of Canterbury's Communications
and Development Department works to raise the profile of the University
and acts as a liaison point between the University, the community, the
media and graduates of Canterbury. Visit Who's Who and

Communications and Development:
- Produces a range of informational and promotional publications for
prospective students, staff and the wider community.
- Maintains UC
News, issues news
releases and liaises with the media.
- Keeps in contact with alumni
through its annual programme of events and publications, sells a range
of University memorabilia
and is involved in graduation.
- Raises funds to support
University activities through development initiatives.
- Provides a service for campus visitors, including campus
tours.
- Records campus images through its photographic section.
