12 February — UCTL’s
seminar room 427, 4th floor, Law building
UCTL is hosting an orientation programme for academic staff who
have arrived since July 2007. Lunch will be provided at the Staff
Club. In addition to the session being an opportunity to talk more
about how we can collaborate with academic staff, it is also a great
chance to meet other relatively new academic staff members from across
the University. Please respond to linda.bowman@canterbury.ac.nz if
you can attend.
The University of Canterbury is now in the middle of a Request for Proposal (RFP) project for photocopiers/printers and multifunction devices to supply the University for the next three years.
All current suppliers to the University were invited to participate and respond to the RFP. Based on the proposals received, the evaluation panel has shortlisted the following organisations (in no particular order):
The shortlisted organisations are having Printer and MFD Demo Days on campus.
The details of the Printer and MFD Demo Days are:
Date: Tuesday 19 February and Wednesday 20 February 2008
Time: 10am - 5pm
Location: A9 Lecture Theatre, A4 Lecture Theatre, A5 Lecture Theatre, A6 Lecture Theatre
All staff members are invited to attend in order to view and try the machines of the shortlisted organisations. All attendees at the Demo Days will be asked to complete a simple scoring sheet on user friendliness of the machines on display. The scores collected from the Demo Days will be used as part of the evaluation process in deciding who the final contract will be awarded to.
Please do come along as your input is valuable in helping us make the right decision.
For more information please email UC Procurement Manager Elena Lo.
