The School of Fine Arts/Te kura toi of the University of Canterbury will be holding an Open Day for prospective students, their teachers, parents and whanau on Friday 12 September.

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with students and staff about all the subject areas taught within the School: Art History, Art Theory, Design, Film, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture.

There will be a number of displays and events, including current student work, demonstrations of studio processes, films, a selection from the University art collection, and a careers panel, as well as a barbecue for all-comers from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
