New-look news-site launched

A new-look news-site launched by Canterbury University today will provide easier access to news, publications, archives and information on the University, alumni activities and giving to the University.
From the new site, launched by the Communications and Development Department, visitors can source the weekly UC Diary, the latest issue of the Chronicle, and the University's magazines - UC Research, UC Teaching and UC Alumni.
Also available from the site are news-story, Diary, Chronicle, and magazine archives and details of the services offered by the Communications and Development Department.
Useful information on the University, the Alumni Association, the University of Canterbury Foundation and Canterbury University Press can be sourced from the site, as can reports and background information on the latest news and issues.
There is also listing of selected University events and an "in the news" section that lists University staff who have been quoted in the media.
The site can be accessed from the University homepage under University News.
